such great heat

In a dark room,
in the smallest corner of the world,
we stand face to face,
each trying to out stare the other,
as hands find skin,
below causal clothing
held up by simple stitches.
your fingers trace black lace,
as my own trace a golden trail,
my nails drag along,
to pull stubborn zippers apart.
my teeth nibble at your soft lips,
as I fight against the sensation of your hands,
and my own breath.
white sheets take on our weight,
as we slip into a place of heat,
limbs fighting to hold each other's down.
you fill my head with lightening,
as we float to the ceiling,
wrapping me up in explosions of pleasure,
so great that my skin glows.
we could ignite this world,
setting it on fire,
here in this dark room,
in the smallest corner of the world.
